The chapters had a lovely continuity and were the perfect length.

I just expected much more after I had read a few reviews. Broken Verses was also formulaic; an opening dream sequence, a headstrong, female protagonist, rich, arrogant, attractive male, the over protective, voice-of-reason, younger sister usually sister or friend the build-up of the plot, some drama and then a conclusion.
